Pretty much. If they meant the Bible, why did they say "holy scriptures?"

Which is again what happens when you have elected judges. They spend too much time worrying about appeasing the electorate and not enough time worrying about the law.

As a judge, I'm sure he took an oath to uphold the constitution, with his right hand on a bible. He'd better watch it or God will strike him down for violating his oath.
