Let me parse these cartoons for a moment.
Will grandstand for honor? That would fit Bill Clinton to a T. Seeing as how he did nothing all through the ,90s.
The Enola Bush and who would Jesus Bomb. Oh, actually I like that cartoon. Especially the part about who would Jesus bomb. He'd be bombing plenty.
The dove with the fork in it. Let's see, the U.N. puts the worst human rights violators on its human rights commission, then get sweetheart oil deals from Iraq and screw what happens to the Iraqis, France, Germany and Spain don't want to a damn thing about Radical Islamists for fear that they will hit back. If someone's forking the dove, it ain't the U.S.
Same shit, different asshole? So Bush gets compared to Hitler. A rather stunning ingnorance of world history and the horrors of the Holocaust. But it doesn't surprise me, considering the quality of education the NEA (a democrat appuratus for "educating" the young) foists upon the young. There would be an societal element dumb enough to believe it, and they seem to be leftees.
The greeting card. Gotta love this one. But why stop there? Let's have Saddam Hussein, Chirac, Kofi Annan whoever that idiot is running Germany all holding fistfulls of dollars while standing over one of the NUMEROUS mass graves that Saddam created.

As I understand his character, the "Jesus" of the Bible would not bomb anyone.
But as the Xtian majority in this country envisions "Jesus" , yes, I guess he would.

Okay.
As long as we also place Ronnie Reagan and George Bush Sr in the pic.
They are the ones who authorized the sale to Saddam of the chemical and biological weapons with which he committed the murders.
Credit where credit's due, doncha know.

WTF are you talking about? Bill Clinton, during the 90's made many people, ordinary people, very rich -- more rich than they ever thought they would be ... that's what he did -- what planet were you living on?

Here it is folks.... FT complaining about something and then COMPLETELY doing what he just complained about......
This is from my "funny pictures" thread, a quote from FT:
The one suggesting that Kerry and Edwards are in league with Saddam Hussein is despicable in its dishonesty.
After posting that..... he has NO PROBLEM posting a picture that compares Bush to Hitler.... and says its "serious" too!
ummm do i even need to say anything?
funny FT. i want bumperstickers made with "who would jesus bomb?"

Great pics. The wingnuts will whine about them because they show bush in his true light. But the rest of the world and the other half of the U.S. population see the serious side of them and know they reflect the GOP's true nature.

I am quite serious.
I lambasted the idiot who claimed that Kerry an Edwards were in league with Saddam. I noted it was an absurdity to make such a claim.
I posted a picture saying that Hitler and Bush are **Same shit, different asshole**.
And it is true.
I will now list for you a long line of traits, actions and agendas that Hitler and Bush share.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BUSH AND HITLER: Is History Repeating Itself?
http://www.thepubliccause.net/Articles/BushHitlerStalinGOP.html
No one expected Hitler to rise to power.
Same with Bush. Bush himself even expressed reluctance and surpise at attaining any great distinction.
Hitler had failed at just about everything he had even undertaken until he discovered politics. In the world of spin and power plays, a superficial gift of gab and bullish determination could replace intelligence and idealism without missing a beat. Hitler found that the path to the top was short: Just tell a discontent people what they want to hear and make promises you have no intention to keep. Bush followed the exact same pattern
In Hitler's first radio speech after becoming Chancellor on January 30, 1933, he pledged [this is a direct quote from that address] "to revive in the nation the spirit of unity and cooperation" and invoked God's blessing on the German government.
Bush did exactly the same.
Hitler was a Christian - (a fact too many have either forgotten or never knew, thanks to sanitized school history books). But, the Fuhrer soon proved he had no intention of being a uniter.
The Nazis' battle cry throughout their campaign had been "down with the liberals!" Once in office, Hitler made "liberals" (a mass group into which he lumped social democrats, gays, Jews, and any threat to Hitler's model of Christian society) his sworn enemies.
Just as with Bush.
As soon as he was in office, Hitler began ramming through one action after the other in rapid, aggressive succession. His sidekick Goebbels, head of propaganda and undoubtedly the bulk of the diabolical brains behind the operation, gleefully wrote in his diary: "The struggle is a light one now as we are able to employ all the means of the state [which included the judiciary]. In addition, he noted, "Radio and press are at our disposal."
Hitler believed that to consolidate his power, he needed to create an "enemy of the state." To facilitate his demonization of the "reds," he sent provocateurs to orchestrate a staged act of "terrorism." Their dupe was a young revolutionary named Van der Lubbe, who was implicated in (i.e. framed for) the bombing of the Reichstag (the equivalent of the Congressional building). This incident gave Hitler the excuse he needed for "cracking down" on "enemies of the state." He rallied the Germans against the "terrorists" and passed the odious "Enabling Acts," in which the government was granted the right to bypass any due process for "suspects." One human right after the other was revoked: the Jews were stripped of all rights, trade unions were broken, and rival parties were made illegal. In addition, Hitler began to isolate Germany from the rest of the world.
Bush has demonstrated he holds to a very similar brand of politics.
From the start, Hitler courted the conservative Christian clergy. The clergy's most important role in the beginning, was to fuel anti-liberalism and anti-Semitism. Jews, according to Hitler, were "the source of every ill that had befallen Germany and of every continuing threat." [Substitute the word "liberal" and you have the new GOP's main party philosophy]. Historian John Weis pointed out that "Hitler inspired only those who shared his anger."
Hitler also made sure that the media did not give provide the public with any coverage of dissenters or public protests because it was "encouraging of destructive elements." [Recently when I asked a reporter at the Associated Press why protests are not being covered, he said reporters are instructed not to because to do so "would be encouraging of destructive displays."].
Exactly as Bush has done.
Hitler was very fond of photo ops. He believed they were his best form of PR and pounced on them at every opportunity. The files abound with shots of Hitler with bright-faced Germany families; he especially liked being photographed with school children. At the same time, Hitler actively promoted "family values" and high moral standards. He believed women should go back to being at home with their families and not in the work force. He also believed there should be little or no separation between the state and his brand of Christianity, especially since he firmly believed that the emotional fervor of religion could be used to effectively to promote the state's objectives.
Under Hitler, worker protections were dismantled, one by one. Soon workers were laboring for longer hours for less pay. Worse yet, all trade unions had been smashed, so there was no recourse. Unfortunately, the Social Democrats were not organized and did not offer a solid front for opposing Hitler and his initiatives. Soon, they found themselves overwhelmed by a highly organized, aggressive and fanatically single-minded army of Nazi Party appointees who did whatever Hitler told them to do without questioning. Here we end the story, because we all know what happens next: the Holocaust and World War II.
Has history ever come closer to repeating itself with two different leaders than it has with Hitler and Bush?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now, Decka, please feel free to elucidate on the ways that Kerry and Edwards are or were working in partnership with Saddam Hussein.

Bush is nothing similar to Hitler. The claim is silly. For one Hitler could speak - Bush is a terrible public speaker.
But - the photo is funny.
By far the best one is the last one - the snake oil one. Everything in that is 100% on the money,

Hitler was also an anti smoking nazi (no pun intended) an enviromentalist, an animal rights nut, a vegetarian and a homosexual, he has more in common with your average Birkenstalk wearing Berkely student then anyone in history, whats your point?

nothing? i would think all of the iraqis who no longer have to be ruled by saddam are greatful we are there.... and they are greatful we are there..... but the media surely doesn't want you to know that....
I have learned that nothing comes easy korg... FDR put us in the position of world policeman..... so in the long run, if we can establish democracy in iraq and iran..... it will be beneficial to the entire planet as a whole..... its alot better than the unstable bee's nest it is now.....
i would say people going off to put their lives on the line for the good of humanity is honorable and to be looked up to....
they surely aren't dying for "nothing".... but of course the liberal peanut gallery will tell you that.....

I'm sure they are greatful to be quote "free" from Saddam...but how much of a better life do they have now? More children go hungry at night, terrorists flood their cities, and chaos is always happening. Are they really, that much better off? And don't you think we should put our country before the Iraqis? This is a war to make our nation more secure, not make people around the world more "secure" Saddam had no weapons, little links to terrorism. There were other nations that were more of a threat we could have attacked to make our nation more "secure". Not to mention, many other leaders around the world were much more harsh to their people, why didn't we go after them? And don't tell me this Democracy will make us safer, because with terrorist reports, we are indeed less safe because of this war. And were we not the ones who gave Saddam the weapons to kill his own people?
so in the long run, if we can establish democracy in iraq and iran..... it will be beneficial to the entire planet as a whole..... its alot better than the unstable bee's nest it is now.....
Wait. So if we establish a Democracy in the middle of radical Islamics we will be safer? Wouldn't they take this as a sign that we are invading their way of life, religion and land? Wouldn't they just grow and become even more powerful? And a Democracy only lasts if the people fight to get it.
