Words cannot describe the pure gaming bliss of Planescape: Torment. I mean.......wow. This is the kind of game that I'd heard people rave about for years, but never bothered to pick up until recently. And it's better then anything I could have expected. PS:T uses the infinity engine, but it's a far cry from Baldur's Gate in every way. The story is tighter, the gameplay faster, and the entire game is more engaging. This is the kind of game that you sneak a few minutes any chance you get just to play. Anyone who's even TOUCHED a computer in their life should own this game. There should be a national holiday devoted to this game. This game should run for president! It's available now for $10 or $15, and worth every nickel. Pick it up, people. You have no excuse not to. I promise you, it'll be one of the most amazing gaming experiences you've ever had.

Yes, it's as good as my incoherant ranting makes it out to be. Perhaps even better. The plot is kind of difficult to explain.....it begins with you waking from the dead with no memory of who you are, and of course you have to uncover your history and who killed you in the first place. If you've ever seen Memento, parts are very reminiscent of that, so much that I wonder if Christopher Nolan played the game before writing the script.
