Chicago baseball mismanagement sucks!
But I'm directing this toward W. Sox fans.
You must settle for nothing less than a World Seies title.
Not the AL Central. Not even a pennant.
World Series. All the way.
Anything less is unacceptable.
We have waited too goddamn long. Chgo. is a major market. 2nd in the AL.
(I don't care what the Angels call themselves. It's still Anaheim.)
Reinsdorf thinks he can win with a small-market payroll? Fine. Let's see him do it. I hope I'm wrong, but I would bet against it.
If they win the Fall Classic, then he can stay. Hope he doesn't sabatoge this season beforehand.
If they fall short, you must boycott him & his cronies and their sponsors. Hit them in the bank account where the pain will be more agonizing than losing.

You should demand better.

See that! I put the Sox in the wrong Division on purpose, and no one cared! This posting has been here for hours, & nobody's read it! This shows how much interest the sox are generating!
Ok, Ok, I made a mistake. It wasn't deliberate. I admitted it and fixed it, more than Jerry's ever done. The bottom line is that the Sox have won nothing on Reinsdorf's watch and haven't even won a postseason game in 12 years.
G. Steinbrenner, MLB's longest tenured, by contrast has won 10 pennants and 6 titles. The 2nd longest tenured, J.R., hasn't won squat.
And all I'm saying is that if the Sox don't win it all this year, and you continue to pay this man and his posse, you are either a masochist or a complete moron. Or both.

Let me guess: you're a lifelong ChiSox fan.

I'm not picky--I'll settle for a pennant--it's been FORTY _SIX years...of course, if they lose the Series, I would be forced to destroy something, like my neighbor's house.
