Personally, I liked it. It really helped tie the movies together, and made me want to watch them all together in one night. The fighting was great, Yoda (my favorite) was really cool. The acting or lines were not the best, but most Star Wars movies aren't that good with those aspects...but I suppose that's what makes these movies so special. R2D2 made me laugh a lot, as did Yoda in a few parts. Good mix of things that were funny, but it was also very serious with the "dark side" taking over.

However, everything in the movie seemed rushed and that it was all going fast. Hardly any "side" parts, and or parts that took up time, but didn't have much action.

But still, overall a good movie. Not my favorite one, but better then Episode 1,2 and 6. But 4 and 5 are still my favorites...5 being my all-time favorite.

The order I put them all in V, IV, III, VI, II, I...

But I must say, III comes in almost second, because I love Yoda so much and he really shines in this movie...

It was good. What the critics said was true though, the dialogue was horrendous. I never thought the conversations between Padme and Anakin could get any worse from Episode 2... but they did.
The special effects were wonderful. A couple of spots though they were outrageously horrible.
Hayden Christensen... Worst fucking choice EVER for Anakin. He was a pathetic weak whinny baby who no storywriter alive would be capable of turning into the calm killer Vader. His acting led a LOT to be desired throughout pretty much the entire movie, only good thing about him is that he is a kick ass lightsaber duelist.
Oh, and Ian McDiarmid did really bad during the transition from Palpatine to Sidious.

The story was great (What Lucas really is known for), but some of the actors should have had some more acting classes or maybe Lucas should have just made sure that the scenes got done right instead of strained. Most of the characters feel as thought they do grow up to their older counterparts. Obi Wan the most. Yoda though... eh, it's slightly difficult to see how he goes from being this wise serious superbeing to an old jokester who lifts trees for fun.
This movie seriously deserves it's PG-13 rating. It's the most gruesome Star Wars movie to date and is pretty much nonstop action.(Only Lucas could fit a story and make it good into a movie that could possibly be mistaken at times to be a pathetic 80's action flick with better special effects)

I think Christopher Walken would have been an awesome Vader. He's far too old, though...but he's still awesome!

Anyway, I am going to see it on Sunday. W00t!

I'm going to see it...sometime this weekend/next week. I really REALLY hate the dialogue between Anakin and Padme. Love the characters. Hate their lines when their with each other.

Usually I demand top-notch acting if I'm to recommend a movie to someone. Movies deemed great solely for action scenes are a rarity. But like the Matrix films, I really enjoyed this final Star Wars film because the fights and special effects were truly spectacular. As a college student majoring in art, this movie was an amazing piece of film. Highly recommended despite the poor acting (although McGregor, Jackson, and the-guy-who-played-the-Emperor all did pretty well).

I'm tempted to say it's the 2nd best Star Wars movie ever. Behind Empire, as always.
