This feature makes it very easy to see things being moved around. Everytime the satelite passes overhead it takes pictures, comparing the pictures shows troop movement, truck movement, and most especially anyone trying to move large weapons and weapon delivering systems.

If they moved them, we would know.

Its true that satelite's can focus in great detail in one area but they cannot focus in great detail on every area at the same time.

So, if you know where to look, sure you can see truck movements - but you cannot scan the whole of Iraq and look for truck movements. When you look at the whole of iraq or even an area way smaller than the whole of iraq - you cannot see any movement of anything.

Sure they can. If you know when the satellite's flying over, you park it in a building. When the satellite leaves, you continue on.

I'm not saying they did, because I have no idea, but it's quite possible.

It is quite possible to track most spy sattelites with radar. I wonder if we have built stealth sattelites, and if not why not.

Then get tons of countries around the world to focus in detail on every part of Iraq. Seriously, we could of done so much in order to see things being moved.

But again, this is going to war on the assumption he moved the weapons. You can't make the decision of war just with an "assumption"

Then all of the satellites run into each other and fall from the sky.

Not really. How big are they? Pretty small. And if every country told eachother where they would put them, it wouldn't knock them out of the sky.

That's a good point Korg. Many people in the Bush Admin. said they knew exactly where the weapons were. And how did they know that (or the reason they gave)? Through satellites.

Wow. The denials just keep getting lamer and lamer. Just shows that those looking to justify mass murder will never concede anything because of a over-inflated and fasle sense of self-rightousness.

"They were hiding from the satillites"

gimmie a fucking break.
