If you haven't caught up with the mass hysteria of The Da Vinci Code, or Angels & Demons, and the rest of the Dan Brown collection, you need to start. In my view, his books can all become movies, though I haven't yet read Deception Point, YET, I've heard it's fantastic. Digital Fortress was amazing, he told the story through a 4,5 character view. He had a love story, an action adventure, and the element of suprise. WOW. The Da Vinci Code, slammed by conservative Christians, has become a multi-million $$ sell all over the world. I even heard there will be a movie coming out staring Tom Hanks. Though it has drawn a huge crowd of believers and non-believers alike, taking their side on the whole Da Vinci Code, which I believe is true. In case you don't know what the Da Vinci Code is, look it up on yahoo and you'll find it automatically. I have always felt that the Church was wrong on tagging Mary Magdalene as a prostitute. This book is a top seller in any given year.
Call sick at work, fake a stomachache or something for school, once you open these books, you won't want to put it down.

Other thrillers to check out:
The Fifth Internationale, Jack King (One of the most underrated thrillers of all time, and this is Jack King's debut!!)
Something Different, Mark Reed (The president tried to ban this book, but the more he does the more people buy, I haven't read it yet but Its on my list)
I can't think of anything else at the moment, but I'll add more books for all the book lovers.

Anybody have any suggestions on good books to read, I have an open mind for all types of books, but Thrillers enthrall me.

Read Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer. It's non-fiction, but still quite thrilling.

I am a Christian and I loved The Da Vinci Code. As long as you know its fiction, it's just that, fiction.

The Secret Life of Leonardo da Vinci
A prankster and genius, Leonardo da Vinci is widely believed to have hidden secret messages within much of his artwork. Most scholars agree that even Da Vinci's most famous pieces—works like The Mona Lisa, The Last Supper, and Madonna of the Rocks—contain startling anomalies that all seem to be whispering the same cryptic message…a message that hints at a shocking historical secret which allegedly has been guarded since 1099 by a European secret society known as the Priory of Sion. In 1975, Paris's Bibliothèque Nationale discovered parchments known as Les Dossiers Secrets, identifying numerous members of the Priory of Sion, including Sir Isaac Newton, Victor Hugo, Botticelli, and Leonardo da Vinci. French President, Francois Mitterrand, is rumored to have been a member, although there exists no proof of this.

Obviously Thetruth05 it seems as though this is a case of only those whom WANT something to be there are willing to believe in it, however its interesting to note that such hidden secrets exist such as..

An Unbroken Code
There exists a chapel in Great Britain that contains a ceiling from which hundreds of stone blocks protrude, jutting down to form a bizarre multi-faceted surface. Each block is carved with a symbol, seemingly at random, creating a cipher of unfathomable proportion. Modern cryptographers have never been able to break this code, and a generous reward is offered to anyone who can decipher the baffling message. In recent years, geological ultrasounds have revealed the startling presence of an enormous subterranean vault hidden beneath the chapel. This vault appears to have no entrance and no exit. To this day, the curators of the chapel have permitted no excavation.
