UNC vs. Michigan St.


On paper, it should be Illi and UNC without a doubt. However, I think Louisville is hotter than anyone in the country, and Michigan St knocked off Duke and UK back to back, something that had only been done once.


To be honest, I am pulling for Illinois, because if they win and UNC doesnt, I will win my school's bracket contest. If they lose either game, regardless of who wins the other final four game, I'm done.

I am pulling for St on the other half...because I dont want UNC in the finals, they beat us, and I think they'd be easier to beat in the finals.

Imagine the tailspin if it's Louisville/Mich. St. in the championship...that would be something to see.

I'd like to see Louisville win, but it'd also be cool to see an all Big10 final.

After all the flak the Big-10 has gotten this year, that would be the ideal matchup to get everyone really kicking themselves for bashing them so much.

...oh, and UNC sucks :)

I agree that an all Big 10 final would be interesting. I wouldn't in any way count Michigain State out against UNC. I think it will probably be the closer game of the two. I think Illinois just has too much talent for Louisville. They have the best group of guards in the country, and their big men know how to rebound and either put the ball back or make the outlet pass depending on which end of the court they're on. Augustine is actually a pretty good shooter as well.

Louisville is one of the feel good stories of the tournament, I mean they were seeded 4th!!With 30 wins, are you kidding me. You have to look at their style of play as of late, team work, Patino making history. Though Ill. might have the upperhand, going into the game, Luisville is strong and on a surge.
UNC VS Michigan St. My pick-Obviously UNC
In the midist of the small and big hands on the 12, Mich. St. has still fought their way through. Now, it seems the slipper is getting a bit tighter. C'mon!!UNC should be able to maul Mich. St., but then again that's what Duke thought. Still UNC just has too many solid players, and are the favorites to win the whole thing. Roy Williams should finally be able to get his championship, or at least get to the big dance.

Should be a classic game.

I agree that it will be a great game. UNC finally woke up in the second half against Michigain State, and played up to their potential. Illinois is just plain talented and on a mission. I think it will be a great game, and I pick Illinois in a very close game.
