Does anyone else watch the stories about the protestors outside Schiavo's hospice and think "If those people spent their time working and donating the money or effort to a good cause, they could do far more good things for sick people than they have done by standing around outside the hospice with pieces of 'life' tape on their mouths"?
Really, do fundies ever think before they act?

Another poster here put it very succinctly, when he wrote [over in the religion forum] --"If anyone ever wanted to do a psychological study on loser misfits, perhaps he should start interviewing the people standing outside Terri Shiavo's hospice". (paraphrased)

I'd like to see the hands raised of those in that group that have explicit instructions to their families that in the event they are in a comma, vegitated, stunned, brain-dead or otherwise completely helpless, that they are to be kept alive for 15 years or forever until g*d personally wills to take the person.
Also show me the hands of the death penalty proponents and most of all show me the hands of those that empower the president to pull a cluster-fucking-bombing on the homes of innocent civilians, women, children and elders as they sleep in their beds in Afghanistan and Iraq (twice).
Then I'd like to hear how they reconcile all those deaths with the one single and inevitable death of Schiavo.

I saw one of these guys today.
He had a sign that said "we love you terri"
I told him "If you truely love something you let it go"
He wasnt very amused.

As normal - these people just pick & choose religious stuff to please their own ends. The law be damned - it isn't worth anything to these people if it stands in the path of their dementia.
They are all saying the Parents should be the decision makers - oh and why is that then? because the parents agree with them.
They forget that the spouse as next of kin is completely biblical.
Genesis 2:24, it reads: "Therefore, a man leaves his father and his mother and cleaves to his wife, and they become one flesh."
Those people just make utter fools of themselves.

There's no doubt that if her husband wanted to keep her alive and her parents wanted to pull the plug, they'd be insisting that her husband is the closest relative and that the parents need to let go.

Schindlers List...
"These compassionate pro-lifers donated toward Bob Schindler's legal battle to keep Terri's estranged husband from removing the feeding tube from Terri," says a description of the list on the Web site of the firm, Response Unlimited, which is asking $150 a month for 6,000 names and $500 a month for 4,000 e-mail addresses of people who responded last month to an e-mail plea from Ms. Schiavo's father.

I see the compassionate killers among us are laughing at the "idiots" again. Anyway, I think if you want to start a study on crazy losers you go to those people who drive from Kansas to Santa Maria CA to stand outside and yell support for Jacko.

These are the same "loonies" that bomb abortion clinics because they are killing babies.
People shouldn't classify all Christians in with this bunch of freaks.

You are right - the Schiavo wacko's are not even in the same league as the Jacko Wacko's.
