View Full Version : Can't open more than one IE browser!

I can't open more than one internet explorer browser at a time. For example, if i'm checking my hotmail, and want to go to microsoft.com at the same time i can't. if i do it will close the hotmail. so i'm only ever allowed to look at one website at a time, when i click on the internet explorer icon to open another page, it closes the first one. please help!

I use and prefer firefox also.

follow these steps to check your IE settings:
In Internet explorer:
Click Tools
Click Internet Options
Click Advanced
Uncheck the "reuse windows for launching shortcuts" box
I think this is in IE 5.5 and lower, IE 6.0 doesn't have this option (I don't think).
