On Friday, March 11th, the Passion of the Christ RECUT will open nationwide in theaters.
Mel Gibson said that he has taken out some of the graphic scenes (a total of 5-6 minutes shorter) to make it appeal more to a wider audience, especially young children. I think that this will do it, but they need to advertise the differences more of the original and the recut edition. Mel has also said that it will be easier for those folks that would take it too hard to see (such as my grandmother).
I will support Mel Gibson and go see the movie again in the theaters, and hopefully people, and myself, won't take it as hard as we did with the original. Who else will support Mel Gibson and go see it again in the theaters?
