Who here is a rock fan? I know Jester is, what's up? Personally, I like the following bands: AC/DC, Aerosmith, Alter Bridge, Black Sabbath, Bon Jovi, Cream, Creed, Extreme, Frankford, Guns 'n' Roses, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Scorpions, Van Halen, and ZZ Top, just to name a few. What about you guys?

Black Sabbath? Ick.
Of those you mentioned, I like AC/DC. Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Guns n' Roses, Led, and some of ZZ Top. I would also like to add that my favorite band (and this is something I say a LOT on here) is definitely Boston...

Black Sabbath has a few good songs, so they aren't too bad. AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Guns 'n' Roses, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Metallica, Boston, Aerosmith (by the way, their Rockin' Roller Coaster at MGM is the best RC ever!), Motley Crue, and Poison are a few of my favorites...although, right now, my favorite rock group, although not like any of the others I mentioned, is Chevelle...

No offense to you personally silver... but i cant stand Chevelle, the lead singer is so whiney, ughhh. Thats one band i switch the station too.
Of the Original List, The bands i would endorse are Aerosmith, Van Halen, Metallica, Zeppelin
Guns N Roses is okay, so is Scorpions

Oh, while we're at it, since I haven't seen them yet, I'll add Styx...Styx is good...

I like Chevelle for their music, not for their personalities (if that's what you meant)...I also like them cause they were my first ever live concert...but I respect your opinion, so no hard feelings, D.

When they're good, they're very good. When they're bad - it's usually Dennis DeYoung's fault.

I have to agree with Decka about Chevelle. They just sound really bland to me, like someone forgot to add salt. Same thing with a lot of these newer rock bands, like Nickelback and Fuel.

Well, every band has a soft spot...

Chevelle & Fuel suck. Nickleback's not too bad. I like a few of their songs. I like a lot of old 70's & 80's music. I don't listen to too many modern bands, but I do like 3 Doors Down, Linkin Park, P.O.D., Disturbed, Puddle Of Mudd, Disturbed, & Lostprophets.

*shakes head* You just made a list even within a regular post. I will now refer to you as Rick Dees.

He's the only one that does the top lists around here...Rick Dees used to on a station back home, but doesn't anymore.

We need to bring back progressive rock. There's just aren't any bands making 14 minute songs about ancient societies in other galaxies ruled by computers anymore.
