Good post , Dop.

Very clearly highlights the current crop of ConservaFascists and their anti-human agenda.

Many of the pronouncements Bush gets up on the national stage and makes in order to stir up the mindless herd are virtual quotes of things Hitler said to incite his supporters to carry out a Holocaust against the "bad" people.

For Hitler and his Nazis, the "bad" people were the Jews and gypsies.

For BushCo and the Religious Right, the "bad" people are the evil wrong-god Muslims and the homosexuals.

A "country" can't be embarassed, only individuals can. My country doesn't embarass me.

The irony of that film is that it relies so heavily on the holocaust. When the holocaust is invoked on these threads, the ONLY people who don't see it as relevant or are tired of hearing about it are on the left (I'm not saying all of you). So the only time the suffering of those poor souls matters is when it can be used against the administration.

Yea... this is really digging deep.....

First off, war is an ugly thing. Its not good that people have to die. Obviously Shaman doesnt know this.

that is a fact? I think it is a way for you far lefties to "get back" at Bush for winning the election. Think about it, if Bush had lost would you be reaming Kerry? million bucks says you'd be praising america LOL. But that is laughable that you would say that is a fact.

I dont think so, i can tell you this much. We don't like the muslims who fly airplanes into our buildings and kill our citizens, and we dont like the muslims who set off car bombs and conduct terrorism in the middle east. It has nothing to do with their religion, it has everything to do with their acts IMO. Its so fitting that you would accept that just because we are going after muslims who attack us, it must be that we hate them and their religion.... wrong junior.

Actually, besides hitler's whole "kill millions of jews and love doing it" spree and his "white power" egoism..... he was actually a very capable political leader. I bet almost every leader of every nation has alot in common with hitler.... except for the whole holocaust thing.......lol. But its so fitting that you would just point out bush.

How would you know war is an ugly thing? You been there?

How do you know it was muslims that flew the planes into the towers? Rush tell you that or are you taking the word of Colin Powell who just last week admited to lieing to the UN?

As an aside, has anyone ever been able to confirm some of those quotes attributed to Bush? Especially the "God told me to attack Iraq so I did" one. I'm not saying he did and I'm not saying he didn't - I'd just like to see a quote from Newsweek instead of tvnewslies.

Most al Qaeda members are Arabs, not Afghans. Their base was in Afghanistan because they were given refuge by the Taliban, and also because many of them were still there after fighting against the Soviets.

Richard Reid (British descent), Jose Padilla (Puerto Rican descent), Ahmed Khalafan Ghailani (Tanzanian descent) to name a few. It's true that most al Qaeda are of Middle Eastern descent, but if that's the only characteristic we're looking for then we're in trouble.

so everyone that looks like an arab or like their from afghanistan is al quida?

Why do we need homeland security, fti, cia and intel ... you guys have it all solved. We should just go and kill all those people ... wait a minute ... we are...

I didn't say that all of them looked like that. I just said that Afghanistan might be a good place to start looking. If you heard of violent KKK activities, not all of their members are from the south, but that might be a good place to start looking for them.

Oh, also, I had just noticed this, for the general knowlege of everyone; someone can not look Muslim. That refers to their religious oreintation, but someone can look Arab.

Post-it note to Lionel

A while back I promised to find a link to the hump belly plane ... remember?

Well, here's one that the white house missed while trying to scrub all this info from the web.

http://www.letsroll911.org/part2.html

Now, being an open minded person, I offer a pointer to the best I've seen contradicting this conspiracy theory. It's not a link but it does a good job so it's worth note...

While at Sky Harbor airport (Phoenix) this morning waiting for my flight to San Diego, on the magazine rack I find the March issue of Popular Mechanics. Go to page 72. It's actually a good read that tries to debunk the hump belly plane.

Sorry, I'm not going to buy the magazine for you.

Yeah, but it's almost all anti-Bush sites quoting it.

Anyway, as near as I can tell from reputable sites, there are no direct quotes of him saying either of those things, but it does seem like he said something similar to someone.

The "God wants me to run for President" quote was actually "I feel like God wants me to run for President" which isn't quite the same, but close enough. I guess the difference would be "God chose me" vs. "I feel like God has chosen me." Supposedly he said that to some evangelist, who then reported it. This seems to be backed up by enough legit sources.

The "God told me to strike Al Queada, so I did, God told me to strike Saddam, so I did" quote was reported in the Ha'aretz newspaper in Israel, which is supposedly a legit newspaper. The quote was from Mahmoud Abbas, who was repeating what Bush told him in private. One paper pointed out that Bush doesn't speak Arabic and Abbas doesn't speak English, so there's a lot of room for misinterpretation there, but whatever Bush said couldn't have been too far away from Abbas' quote, assuming Abbas isn't lying, and there doesn't seem to be any evidence that he was. Whether Bush brought God into it or not I guess no one really knows except Abbas, who may not be entirely sure himself.

Cool thanks. I dunno, it still just looks like the wing root to me. It's pretty big, especially when you look at this picture:

767 (http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=790385&WxsIERv=Obrvat%20767-323%2FRE&WdsYXMg=Nzrevpna%20Nveyvarf&QtODMg=Mhevpu%20%28-%20Xybgra%29%20%28MEU%20%2F%20YFMU%29&ERDLTkt=Fjvgmreynaq&ktODMp=Sroehnel%2017%2C%202005&BP=0&WNEb25u=Snovna%20Tlfry&xsIERvdWdsY=A366NN&MgTUQtODMgKE=Nf%20gur%20pb-cvybg%20vf%20gnxvat%20bss%2C%20gur%20pncgnva%20-%20oyvaqrq%20ol%20gur%20yvtug%20-%20frrzf%20gb%20or%20ybbxvat%20evtug%20ng%20zr%21% 20Nyfb%20abgr%20gur%20ornhgvshy%20wrgoynfg%20naq%2 0gur%20terng%20ersyrpgvbaf.%20Vs%20bayl%20gur%20jb hyq%20fraq%20va%20gurve%20njrfbzr%20G7f%21&YXMgTUQtODMgKERD=78&NEb25uZWxs=2005-03-06%2022%3A02%3A55&ODJ9dvCE=&O89Dcjdg=&static=yes&sok=JURER%20%20%28nvepensg_trarevp%20YVXR%20%27Obr vat%20767%25%27%29%20%20BEQRE%20OL%20cubgb_vq%20QR FP&photo_nr=12&prev_id=790427&next_id=790342&size=M)

Some planes have even bigger wing root boxes:

Cessna Citation X (http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=783364&WxsIERv=Prffan%20750%20Pvgngvba%20K&WdsYXMg=Hagvgyrq&QtODMg=Fpbggfqnyr%20%28-%20Zhavpvcny%29%20%28FPS%20%2F%20FQY%29&ERDLTkt=HFN%20-%20Nevmban&ktODMp=Sroehnel%2013%2C%202005&BP=0&WNEb25u=Gvz%20Ynpuraznvre&xsIERvdWdsY=A99OO&MgTUQtODMgKE=Ybir%20gung%20cnvag%20wbo%21%20%3E%3E Pnaba%20300Q%3B%20100-400zz%3C%3C&YXMgTUQtODMgKERD=1268&NEb25uZWxs=2005-02-24%2019%3A34%3A23&ODJ9dvCE=&O89Dcjdg=750-0005&static=yes&sok=JURER%20%20%28nvepensg_trarevp%20%3D%20%27Prff an%20750%20Pvgngvba%20K%27%29%20%20BEQRE%20OL%20cu bgb_vq%20QRFP&photo_nr=8&prev_id=783366&next_id=783314&size=M)

I'm not quite sure what that website is even arguing - on one hand they seem to be saying that the plane shot a missile at the WTC right before impact, but then the pictures they show seem to be saying that the missile hit the plane itself?

Anyway, don't want to derail the thread too much.

Hey too bad congress used the black ops beheading of Nick Berg as an excuse to not release all the other photos of the atrocities being commited in Iraq. Child rape, rape with foreign objects, Rape, Murder, torure etc etc.... They said that it would piss people off and bring our troops to undue harm...What happned to personal responsibility?

Sigh Dop - the Pod theory is complete crap and meant to discredit what actually happened.

Then I'll ask the question again ... how do I know an Al-Quida when I see one? Has anyone ever seen one? Who? What did that person look like? Dunno? Then how do we know we're killing Al-Quidas if we don't know what they look like? If we kill enough arabs can we safely say we killed some Al-Quidas?

Wish i could dop...

But all of the ones that have made statements on a videotape and all the ones i see on TV are of middle eastern decent.....

I can hear it now..... DOP: "oohhhh just because its on TV you follow it like sheep blah blah blah"..... well, no. I never said that if you are an Al Quaida you are middle eastern, but you have to agree with me that a very high percentage of them are.

Unlike other people..i see no problem with giving more attention to a stereotype. I have said time and time again that if an american terrorist flew a plane into the eiffle tower, and i went to france, i would EXPECT to be looked at more, searched, whatever. So if most Al Quaida and terrorists that are trying to kill us ARE of middle eastern decent, i dont see a problem with giving them more attention.... hey, if they are innocent, what do they have to hide?

Not that it's done any good, considering that the last two al Qaeda plots uncovered were to be carried out by a Brit and a Puerto Rican.
