"A group of Iraqi judges have rehearsed for the upcoming trial of Saddam Hussein (http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/998902B5-857A-467D-9A78-813FE6502652.htm) and other leaders of Iraq's former government in a London hotel, a UK newspaper has reported.
The Financial Times said the 19 judges went through a mock trial, designed by the International Bar Association (IBA) on Wednesday to replicate the circumstances they might encounter at the Iraqi Special Tribunal.
Questions raised by the group during their time in London ranged from big legal questions such as sovereign immunity for former heads of state (http://www.workingforchange.com/article.cfm?itemid=16210) to more technical matters such as witness protection."
