I would say it's a must that you practice, excersise your mind and gain cotrol of your powers because you can probably break through the veil eventually and provide serious answers to the questions that have been dogging Humans throughout time.

Telekenetic abilities are probably a small detail of a much larger potential.

Yes Ed, Sorcery is more a term used by people to blame the natural occurance of things on a demonic being.

Well, any gift is either a blessing or a curse, either from God or from Satan. To be honest I don't know about this one. I just hope you will figure it out.

Why would would a gift like this be a bad thing? There is no satan, satan is in peoples minds, if the power is there it is up to the person how they would use it.

example; 3 people have the power to heal, one does it because he/she feels they need to help anyone. The 2nd person uses it to get fame and fortune only heals the rich. The 3rd person uses it only on Christians{or which ever religion they belong too} because they feel others don't deserve to be healed. The power to heal is the gift the person chooses what to do with it.

Well, this is not a power to heal now, is it? This is the power to destroy. To destroy more than to create, to break more than to fix. See the difference?

This is what i am talking about. I have never been able to think of anything good that could come from moving things. Even if i had control of it, it's more like a magic act in a circus than a gift.

Kidding... Although that is not a power I would personally want, it would certainly lead me to explore other uses of my mind. I think we all have psychic abilities. They were just smothered by adults when we were children. Well at least some people's abilities were more repressed than others. Just because it is not the most socially acceptable way to be does not mean it is wrong, just misunderstood.

There doesn't have to be anything spooky or other-wordly about it. Read some Deepak Chopra. He is a nuclear physicist. He talks about mind control and harnessing our energy from a scientific perspective. Look for some physics books instead of going the "spiritual" route. It may just make you feel less weird and more grounded.

The potential of the human mind is enormous. We just have not yet studied it enough.

If you mean, was I referring specifically to you? No. I was referring to all people under the extraordinary category.
Just like there are many people who claim to be Christians, so, I am sure, there are many people who claim to have extraordinary abilities.

I'm quite sure there are alot of them. But if anyone knew me well enough, they know I am more of a low key type of person. I keep to myself most of the time, generally have no local friends because I don't much care for confrontations which generally begin at some point within friendships, and I barely ever go out. My family in my home is my life and world. I could really care less what outsiders think of me because they have no impression on the way my life goes. I come here for humor, interesting discussion and my husband who used to frequent these boards. The last thing I want is for anyones belief of something about me that they don't want to believe. It makes no difference to me at all. I posted a reply in this thread simply because it was of a nature that interested me.

All right then. You are a reasonable person and I am sure you will handle your problem just fine.
