Ok I need to shed like 10 to 15 lbs before March 12.

I have been power walking for 25 minutes everyday since Tuesday.

How much weight do you think I can lose if I do this everyday and eat 2 meals a day with no snacks ?

Just curious...

Holy crap Sandy, I don't think you can lose that much weight by then but you can probably make your body firmer and thus smaller. I would likely add some weight bearing exercise in there for at least ten minutes a day. Muscle burns more calories than fat so it will up your metabolic burn. But also remember that muscle weighs more than fat so the weight thing is kind of deceiving.

I am no expert but I don't think two meals a day is a good idea. It will slow your metabolism down because your body thinks you are starving it. The thing is to trick your metabolism into thinking you are giving it more food and thus it will speed up. The way to do that is to eat smaller meals more frequently; possibly as many as six small meals a day. Also make sure your calorie count doesn't drop below 1200 a day or once again it will slow your metabolism.

Be careful of any white food such as bread, rice etc as it is a simple carbohydrate and it will mess your blood sugar up.

I am also heavily into a similar program that ucanbe2 post about here which is nutrition via herbs etc but you have to be careful with that because if you don't know what you are doing it will back fire.

Fruits, vegetables and lean meats are the key. Cut out anything which refined over-processed.

Hope this helps. Good luck!!

Sandy,
Sal is right about staying away from highly refined, and processed foods. Anything that is man-made is usually not good for you.
But I must say, if you follow the plan that the company I represent teaches, it will not back fire. You can lose the weight by then safely, and we do encourage what you are already doing in exercise to make sure you will get it off, and keep it off.
It does happen because of what we teach.
You get total support from the company, so that a plan is personalized just for you, that will give you complete nutrition on the cellular level to make sure the weight stays off, and you are in optimal health.
We know that one size does not fit all, and everyone, even people that are in great shape need the right amounts of protein daily depending on their height and weight.
This is not a high protein low carb approach, we also teach which foods are the good carbs that you will need in a daily diet, so not to spike insulin levels, so you do not crave the bad carbs, and we teach as well, how much fluids you need daily to shed unwanted weight. You would be surprised at how much you need daily.

Having enough protein, this way your body does build lean body mass, and protein is a hunger fighting food, so you will gain energy as well as boast your metabolism so that it burns the stored fat, and not crave the foods that add weight, and health problems.
The company has been in business for 25 yrs now, and are #1 in the wellness industry worldwide because of the products and programs . They are created by Dr's that study only nutrition. I know the results that I have gotten, as well as the 40 million other people worldwide have gotten, can not be wrong.

I wish you best wishes.

Mary
