Being a comic strips fan I would like to know which comics strips you like. Here are a few of my favorites :
Calvin and Hobbes
Dilbert
Judge Dredd
Maus
all the works of Alan Moore, Mike Mignola, Daniel Clowes, Burns
and plenty of europan comics which are probably not available in the USA (except for Lewis Trondheim : http://www.fantagraphics.com/artist/trondheim/trondheim.html)

Peanuts and Blondie would be the biggest waste of ink in human history if Family Circus didn't exist.

My newspaper has what is said to be the most comprehensive comics section in US papers, so I've read all mentioned here and more many a time.
Garfield probably goes down as my least favorite comic because everyone thinks it is great. They made two movies...

The first movie sucked, according to EVERYONE, haven't seen the second. I've loved Garfield since I was little.

Frogger: "You're such an iconoclast, Evakian."
Evakian (in a Sean Connery accent): "I was iconoclastic on your mother last night."
Frogger: "She passed away long ago, Evakian."
Evakian: "I know."
