No. The Matrix is a highly overrated, horrible failure of a cyberpunk film which rips off multiple sources, particularly Neuromancer, and to a lesser extent Dark City, written by two guys who thought they could make a William Gibson movie and failed miserably. It's laughabley acted and the directing is average at best. The only impressive part of the movie is the "graphics", as you say, which weren't even original. Flo-mo type stuff had been around for a while, The Matrix just made it popular.

Summary: Neuromancer = good. The Matrix = bad.

No.......no, the Matrix is still a really mediocre sci-fi film. It's just that some crazy nutjobs think it's a good flick. Some crazy nutjobs also think that we never landed on the moon, that doesn't make it true.

I like most of the new startrek movies, they have tons of graphics/special effects that look very real.. I think office space was one of the funnies movies in a long time. Also, Swordfish has cool graphics.. Oh - And Terminator 2 was just a fun movie to watch..

Halle Berry, could go with or without clothes, I personally think thtat part could have been taken, out. She is getting millions to show her body.
