Saw it and I really enjoyed it. It really hit the mark in capturing the spirit of the book.
Can hardly wait for the next movie and Order of the Pheonix book out in June - I really hope it is worth the wait.

I thought the ending of the movies and the books is way too cheezy. And the final scores for the year are Slytherin (sp?) with 123 points and Griffondor (sp? again) with 26, 000, 000 points.....*insert general debauchery here*. Gimme a break. The next two books get really good tho; I'm looking forward to the movies.

Slytherin=correct
Griffondor should be Gryffindor.
I like the books but I'm not going to rent the movie.

I don't want to see the movie because I prefer to keep my own personal picture of every character and place when reading the books. Maybe I will watch the movies when I have read the 7 books.

I've read all the books that have been introduced thus far. Actually grabbed them from my nephew. Pretty good reads, especially when you consider that the target audience is youngsters. I've also seen both movies, the 2d was better, if only through character development and familiarity with the scenery introduced in the first.
