Downloaded the 3rd release of this at about 2.2gigs last night, so i should have it on a DVD and ready to install (over the jap XP) tomorrow.

I have some info on problems occuring with Linux on laptops, mainly the keyboard specific buttons to display stuff like battery power and switching between LCD and CRT wont work, but o well.

Should be interesting and ill keep you posted.
