i tried to run the game Everquest on my Emachine,
it said i ran out of "virual memory",

i have 256mb , and i got anther 256mb, i matched them at the store.

the computer did nothing , the game freezes in the same place (a few steps of movement)

and i can't find anything that said "add RAM" or similar,on the computer.

Where on earth did you get the idea that "virtual memory" == RAM? Virtual memory is the swap file on your hard drive. You need to either let Windows handle your swap file (it defaults to that), or upgrade your hard drive.
